- Complete the brainstorming sheet as a group, divide writing, write a 600 - 800-word essay on Professional Learning Communities. Print the brainstorming and essay for your binder. Minimum of four references.
- On your own - Write Topic 1 of your research paper before Wednesday of next week.
Chapter 4: Conferring with Children
- Think about your idea of conferencing with children. Write down or discuss with your peers: What do you envision the room to look like, feel like, and sound like? What concerns or questions do you have?
- Chapter four presents the seven elements of successful conferences (p. 57 – 67). Read and reflect on this section, use p. 151 as a guide. How long do you think you will conference with students? Will you complete all seven steps? What do you think you will find most difficult? How do you forsee this working in your daily routine?
