The group will depart the United States on June 20, arriving in Berlin on June 21.

The group will return to the United States from Nuremberg on June 30, arriving on June 30.

There is a 7-hour time difference between Iowa and Germany.  (It is later there than here.)

Meals are served on international flights.   Expect to have dinner and breakfast while we're crossing the Atlantic. Think about having a glass of wine with dinner and then trying to sleep. You'll thank yourself for skipping the movie when we arrive in Europe Sunday morning. (There's a 7 hour time change.) 

 

Please note that additional fees apply for checking more than one suitcase and/or for a a suitcase that weighs over 50 pounds. Pack light! We're going to get used to seeing each other recycle the same outfits. And you'll leave more room for souvenirs!

If you're not a frequent traveler, check out the Transportation Security Administration page, which has links to a list of prohibited items, limits on liquids, etc. Please note: Liquids in your carry-on luggage must be in amounts of 3 oz. or less and packed in a single one-quart ziploc bag. This limitation does not apply to liquids in your checked luggage.
