Explores key issues in the Latin-American national cinemas of the 20th and 21st centuries, especially gender, race, class, family, migration. Introduces film analysis across Spanish America, Brazil, the United States. Conducted in Spanish. Winter Term every third year. Prerequisite: SP 261 or SP 263 or instructor approval.
