Description

Explores themes of U.S. Latino culture, including language, identity, race, gender and family. Special emphasis given to how historical approaches inform the current sociopolitical discourse about the increasing importance of Latinos in U.S. society. Prerequisite: SP 261 or SP 263 or instructor approval.
