In groups, gather information to share with the class on Wednesday on the following Writer's Workshop programs.

Do:

1) Select a strategy from your Writing Strategies book that is related to descriptive writing.

1.a) Create an anchor chart to teach your selected strategy to share (poster paper or word doc)

1.b) Share in the folder by uploading the pdf or uploading a pic of the anchor chart (Due Monday of next week)

2) Write one descriptive sentence in your introduction - inquiry paper. (Due Wednesday)

3) Table groups - 1 slide or visual to describe the assigned writing program (Due Wednesday).

Chapter 5: Eavesdropping on Some Conferences

A few of the conference examples in this chapter provide a picture of the conferring form after the conference is over (figures 5.1 – 5.4). Select an example that does not have a form pictured, and practice as though you were the teacher in the example. What would you write down?
