26 members of the Wartburg College faculty and staff are heading off to Germany June 19-29.  We'll spend time in Wittenberg, where Martin Luther worked as a university professor; in Eisenach, home of the Wartburg Castle; and in Neuendettelsau, the small village that launched worldwide missionary and social service work in the 19th century and from which our founders came.

 

Some members of the group may be blogging on their own, but we've established a group blog, too, and this is it.   As one of the fearless leaders of the group, I've spent so much time on logistics that I haven't really taken time to get excited about the trip itself - until now!  It's a great group of colleagues, and I'm excited to start off on this new adventure with them.
